CNN's DECLASSIFIED: UNTOLD STORIES OF AMERICAN SPIES returns for a second season. The eight-part CNN Original Series provides viewers with unprecedented access to the riveting and secret world of espionage. Hosted by former U.S. Congressman Mike Rogers, also the former chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, each episode features a newly declassified mission told first-hand by the agents who lived it, and gives viewers unprecedented access to the world of espionage. Intelligence agencies including the CIA, FBI, NSA, DEA, Homeland Security and the State Department are represented, revealing the unbelievable true stories of America's covert operations in the United States and around the world. The second season of Declassified chronicles successful missions to target America's biggest threats including a software pirate, an international arms dealer, terrorist hijackers and the world's biggest heroin trafficker. On November 23, 1985, Egypt Air Flight 648 left Athens, Greece bound for Cairo, Egypt. It would never reach its final destination. This is the story of that ill-fated flight, told firsthand by a passenger lucky enough to survive, a CIA officer who witnessed the event, and the FBI agents tasked with bringing the perpetrator to justice.

A website CRACK99 was selling thousands of high-tech software products used largely by the military for anyone to purchase, like a satellite tracking software, aerospace and aviation simulations, communications systems designs, or a software for Marine One, the presidential helicopter. After the website came to their attention, a group of Homeland Security Investigations special agents work together with the elite Defense Criminal Investigative Service to identify and capture a Chinese software pirate identified as Xiang Li who threatens US national security.

In 1984, a young charismatic leader, Bob Mathews, built an army of white supremacists with the goal of eliminating Jewish people from the face of the earth and overthrowing the U.S. government. The group, known as The Order, went on a crime spree- stealing millions and murdering an outspoken Jewish radio host. A group of FBI agents in the pacific northwest works to find and capture one of the largest domestic terrorist syndicates the US has ever seen.

Highly trained agents from the American Drug Enforcement Agency are looking for Afghanistan's drug king amidst the insurgency, one of the biggest heroin smugglers from the Taliban circle. Haji Bagcho led a massive drug production and trafficking operation that supplied heroin in more than 20 countries, including the United States, and used the profits of his narcotics trafficking operation to support high-level Taliban commanders in Afghanistan.

In a story of betrayal against family and country - the FBI and CIA embark on a decade-long effort to catch the highest ranking CIA officer to ever commit espionage and his son, who also joined the spy game. Jim Nicholson was a case officer playing cat-and-mouse with the KGB during Cold War overseas assignment in the Far East. But Jim had a secret. For years, he had been selling the identities of hundreds of CIA trainees and troves of highly classified files to Russia's foreign spy service with his youngest son, Nathan. The CIA and FBI joined forces to catch him in an unprecedented interagency spy-catching collaboration.
